Politico reports that Jenny Racicot, a 41-year-old Maine resident who dated Senate candidate Graham Platner, says he entered her home uninvited in late 2021 while intoxicated and forced himself on her as she repeatedly told him to stop. Why is the media still covering for him when they would have wrecked the life of any Republican facing even half of Platner’s accusers?
Platner still denies it: “These allegations are troubling, serious, and false. Any accusation of non-consensual behavior is categorically untrue.” His campaign calls the story “coached and coordinated by out of state establishment operatives.” But now even many his strongest supporters are calling on him to drop out of the race.
Curtis Houck of NewsBusters walks through how the national media has covered the Maine Democrat as an “oyster farmer” despite recurring controversies including a tattoo resembling a Nazi symbol and a growing list of accusers. Eric Bolling, host of TheEDGE and a two-time New York Times bestselling author, discusses the spread of Flock surveillance cameras in American towns and what it means when, as one report put it, you “cannot get a breath of fresh air without us knowing.”
