“On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the 5th Amendment to the Constitution,” Dr. Fauci told the Senate and the American people, in response to every question about his involvement in funding dangerous gain of function research in Wuhan, China, and new revelations found in his COVID-era diary released by Senator Rand Paul.
