In March 2022, Dr. Joseph Fraiman taped an internal call between FDA directors and physicians who were concerned about mRNA side effects in their patients – including the cardiac arrest and sudden death of a 7-year-old days after being injected with Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine.
“This was a top level meeting of directors,” Dr. Fraiman revealed to Ask Dr. Drew in Sept 2023. “This entire meeting terrified my entire work group.”
The call – legally recorded by Dr. Fraiman – included FDA Director Dr. Peter Marks, Dr. Peter Doshi, Dr. Celia Witten, Dr. Sarah Walinsky, Dr. Lorrie McNeill, and many other experts.
“What they’re saying here is they’re not doing statistical testing on adverse events. This is really insane to me,” Dr. Fraiman continued. “You know there’s a problem if the vaccine group has a higher rate of them.”
In the call, UCLA pediatric specialist Dr. Patrick Whelan told FDA directors that he filed a VAERS report about a 7-year-old patient who “had a cardiac arrest following his first Pfizer vaccination” but says he “didn’t receive any follow up.”
“The patient died about 8 days later,” says Dr. Whelan. “There’s something wrong with the reporting system.”

But things may soon change under the new administration. In a letter leaked last week, the FDA’s Dr. Vinay Prasad revealed an internal review which showed Covid mRNA shots caused at least 10 child deaths out of the 96 reports that were studied. The agency is now weighing stricter restrictions for the products – and possibly even a black box warning – as it considers reviewing the entire childhood vaccine schedule and approval process.
