“Unheralded cardiac arrest among previously healthy young people without antecedent illness, months or years after coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination, highlights the urgent need for risk stratification,” Dr. Peter McCullough and Nicolas Hulscher say in recently-published medical paper.
“The numerous studies highlighting serious cardiovascular safety concerns related to COVID-19 vaccines have raised public and physician awareness,” they concluded, warning that physicians should have a “pre-established approach” for handling patients with these side effects.
Nicolas Hulscher, MPH, is an epidemiologist and administrator at the McCullough Foundation. He earned a BS in Pre-Health Professional Studies from Oakland University in 2020 and an MPH in epidemiology from the University of Michigan in 2024.
