Despite his public distaste for the controversial Infowars broadcaster, Elon Musk reinstated the Twitter X account of Alex Jones.

“I am not a fan of Andrew Tate. I am not a fan of Alex Jones,” says Dr. Drew, “and I would defend their rights – categorically.”

“And if they say horrible sh** that causes consequences, that’s on them,” Dr. Drew continues. “The Sandy Hook people took action.”

“Alex Jones being back on Twitter is a gigantic victory for free speech and access to information,” responds top Rumble creator and political commentator Salty Cracker.

Dr. Drew – a board-certified physician and addiction specialist – also referenced a recent discussion on Joe Rogan’s podcast about Alex Jones’ alleged struggles with alcoholism and bipolar disorder.

“As somebody that’s worked in mental health, I don’t want people to be held accountable for the rest of their lives for saying crazy sh** when their brain isn’t working right,” says Dr. Drew.
