Censorship constantly backfires. If Twitter censored the Hunter Biden Laptop story at the request of powerful political figures – as alleged in Elon Musk’s release of the Twitter Files – is it reasonable to assume they also censored reports about the real origin of COVID-19, adverse reactions to mRNA, and the ineffectiveness of mandated masking and lockdowns?

But is this a First Amendment issue or simply bias? Every social platform is obligated to remove non-consensual nude photos and doxxing. Twitter almost certainly would have applied the same content moderation if the suppressed New York Post article had covered a Donald Trump Jr. laptop leak. So while their awkward handling of the Hunter Biden Laptop is unsettling, it is really just the tip of a larger iceberg.
Why do powerful figures – both Republicans and Democrats – have the ability to pressure Twitter into suppressing stories? Did others similarly influence Twitter to kick off Alex Berenson, Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Kelly Victory, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, and Dr. Peter McCullough? Does this censorship extend from Twitter to other #BigTech platforms like YouTube or Facebook? What else have they decided to hide from us?
