Recent studies have shown that people on the autism spectrum are more likely to identify as part of the LGBTQ community – including some researchers who estimate that people with autism traits are 2-3 times more likely to be transgender than those who are not on the spectrum.

Courtney Lasky is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Director of Clinical Services with BlueSprig Pediatrics. She is also a wife and mother of 6 children who has worked with autistic individuals for over 15 years.
