Dr. Drew’s conversations with expert physicians about the risks of mRNA prompted many to label him an “antivaxxer” despite his decades of insisting vaccines are safe and effective. If Dr. Drew is not anti-vaccine, which vaccines does he recommend?

“I don’t give the shingles vaccine to a 6 year old,” Dr. Drew continues. “I don’t give a Yellow Fever vaccine to someone who’s not traveling to a region where they’re going to get Yellow Fever. I don’t give the HPV vaccine to an 85-year-old… But I use ALL of those vaccines. So it’s not all vaccines, all the time, in every age group, in all situations. It’s never that. Why can’t we do that with the COVID vaccine?”
After a recent revelation from a Pfizer executive, who admitting that they have no data proving that mRNA vaccines stop transmission of COVID-19, Dr. Drew believes the constant goalpost-moving will only harm the work of medical experts who have spent decades proving the effectiveness of vaccinations.
“All of the mandate policies and the vaccine passports and the grotesque discrimination that came out of that was all on the belief that this virus was not transmitted after the vaccine,” says Dr. Drew. “That was the entire justification for it. And it was wrong. Somebody needs to apologize.”
