During the event, President Donald Trump made a surprise visit and praised Dr. Drew for his work in bringing attention to mental health and addiction. As a proponent for improving mental health services – including decades of building awareness throughout multiple presidencies – Dr. Drew has received worldwide recognition as a bipartisan voice fighting for the care of those who need it most, but often feel that they have nowhere left to turn.
